Legends are built to run at a lower rpm for more fuel efficiency, less wear, and less noise. It makes full generator power at 1,800 rpm. That's less rpm than other models even low idle at. For welding under 220 amps it idles up to 3,000 rpm and above 220 amps runs at 3,600 rpm.
