I bought a 2003 Pontiac Vibe from this dealership November 2024.  I was told the clutch was "good" by the dealer.  Upon test driving it, I found the gas pedal was stiff, but the clutch had resistance.  After arranging the financing with the dealer and my creditors, I got the car the next evening.  Within a few days, I realized the mistake I'd made.  The check engine light popped up on day 2, and that was only for the exhaust.  The clutch began slipping less than a month after, the head gasket was blown, the alternator had to be replaced next as well as the serpentine belt.  That's when I saw the copious amount of oil leaking from an unknown source onto the belt.  The car pulled hard in both directions on the interstate.  The prior owner had crashed the car.  I kept on repairing what I could as I could because I had chosen to trust a used car dealer to sell me a vehicle that was at least safe.  I regret being impulsive with a used car dealer that would sell a car so damaged it would affect a buyer's life 100%.  I cannot even pay the lemon off now.  An estimate for repairs?  Over $8,000!  Guess the value of this Pontiac (Toyota) Vibe (Matrix): $1,500.  Yeah, until I got that estimate, I was too embarrassed to leave at the very least a bad review for Discount Motors.  Might as well try to warn the next impulsive buyer.  BEWARE!

ABSOLUTELY GREAT PLACE!! Vasiliy helped us and was extremely easy to work with on top of being an overall good human being to talk to.   He made the process simple for my wife and I and was very communicative and transparent through the entire sale and even went as far as to help my wife and I commute to the bank since we were on foot.   Great sales place and I can see my self definitely going back in the future.

I found Discount Motors through FB Marketplace while looking to purchase a car and if possible a travel trailer. Welll… as fate would have it, I, instead bought an A class 33 ft RV along with a Lincoln MKX. Vasiliy is flexible and fair, a family man and his stock all reasonably priced. The vehicles he sells are high end names and very well kept. You can tell that Mr V takes pride in his inventory and isn’t even a bit pushy to make a sale. He is patient, thank God because I can be a little difficult to deal with as a customer sometimes. My RV only cost me half of the RV equivalent of Blue book value and both vehicles have been on the road since. Thank you V for an easy and pleasant buying experience. I most definitely recommend Discount Motors on Federal Way if you are looking to purchase a vehicle and want a lot of bang for your buck!!!

After about 2 months of looking and reviewing multiple vehicles, we found a truck with Discount Motors. I contacted the dealer and I believe it was the owner, was super responsive to any questions I had. Upon arrival, the truck was pulled up ready for us to walk around and drive. I had already planned on purchasing the truck, already pre-qualified for a loan, but because the CarFax was pristine, I wanted to get eyes on it before finalizing the payment.
The truck sounded great, rode smooth and was exactly as portrayed. The owner was efficient and knew exactly what we needed to tell our credit union so the transaction could be finalized and the check sent to him. He was kind, professional and personable.  We finished paperwork and headed out much after his closing time. Upon driving home we discovered an issue. We reached out the following day, and the owner was repsonsive and quite fantastic in the speed in which the issue was addressed. All has been fixed and up to this point from first interaction thru now, I have been extremely happy and impressed. I don't live in the area and drove about 1 hour to complete this purchase and I will always check this dealer first moving forward. I will also continue to recommend as they are honest and fair.
