I bought a Snorkle TB42 Boom Lift from Clairmont Equipment.  It was in great shape except for a persistent hydraulic leak.  Even though the Lift was sold "As Is", I talked to the salesman and it was agreed that Clairmont Equipment would fix the leak as a condition of the sale.  When the Lift was delivered, the leak had not been repaired.  I spent 3 weeks emailing back and forth and eventually a repairman came out to make the repair.  He did not have any fittings or the tools to make the repair and said that another employee would have to come out.  He called the office and told them that it would probably a 3 hour repair.  To me this was moot because they had promised the repair.  I have now been informed that they will not be making the repair, that the equipment was sold "As Is".
So much for a promise.  DO NOT TAKE POSSESSION OF ANY EQUIPMENT UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED THAT YOU ARE GETTING WHAT WAS PROMISED.
