Edmund Scientific Co. Telescope 6” Reflector

For sale is an Edmund Scientific “Super Space Conqueror” 6” reflector telescope. Production date on the clock drive shows 8/66. Includes two original eyepieces (1/2” & 1/4” FL), barlow, Edmund catalog (1967), and an additional ES 8mm RKE eyepiece. Cosmetically, it’s no show pony as there are small dings and scratches on the tube and finder from previous owner(s). Optically, the eyepieces and finder are just fine. I’ve attached an untouched moon pic using using only an iPhone held to the eyepiece. When plugged in, the (115V) clock drive works but I haven’t mastered its finicky clutch settings settings. I’m not weak but busting out this scope and beast of a mount is a chore for home viewing (trees, light pollution, etc.). This led to me to purchasing something else a little more portable and easier to track so much to my chagrin this scope has gotta go. Under the right conditions though it’s undoubtedly a fun scope. An excellent candidate for restoration also. Would be interested in trades if it would compliment a Nexstar 6SE that I just picked up. Not looking to separate at the moment. Asking $175/obo.
