2-stoke. 25 horsepower Mercury outboard motor runs good just started this summer. The length of the shaft seems to be a big question I don’t know what mercury standards are but the distance from the top of the bracket which sits on the transom to the top of the cavitation plate is approximately 18 inches. Manual start. Vin ages motor to early 90’s I think
