Description
Here are four classic albums from the seventies which were great examples of Funk. Starting with the Brothers Johnson from 1973. This was produced by Quincy Jones and it was a very big album in the clubs during the seventies. These two brothers played guitar and bass and both sang. The songs include I'll be good to you, thunder thumbs and Lightnin licks, get the funk out my face, come together, and the ladies, Etc. The next album is Earth Wind & Fire, That's The Way of the World. This was a classic album and features the hits shining star, That's The Way of the World, reasons, africano, Happy Feelings, Etc. The next album is Bootsy Collins and it is called, the name is bootsy baby!. This features the hits rubber ducky, Munchies For Your Love, can't stay away, the Pinocchio Theory, Etc. The final album is a double album with Rufus and Chaka Khan live. This is one of the best live album in R&B and it just has all of their hits very clearly recorded as if they were in the studio. The songs include you got the love, once you get started, dance with me, sweet thing, tell me something good, packed my bags, I'm a woman, do you love what you feel, etcetera. All of these are very clean condition and will be a very nice addition to your vinyl collection representing some good funk from the seventies.
