2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Crew Van

This is a 2021 Mercedes-Benz 2500 Sprinter van in Graphite Grey. It has a V6 Diesel turbo engine, 4x4, 144” wheelbase with high roof. This Sprinter started its life as a Crew van. The first owner laid the ground work and did a light camping build out. Both rear bench seats are removable, as is the bed platform. In passenger mode, you can seat eight for road trips, wine tasting or Hood to Coast. In cargo mode, with bed platform and rear bench removed, you have 7’6” of cargo space (10’4” with both seats removed). In camping mode, the rear bench can stay depending on storage needs. The sprinter can sleep 4 adults (without rear seat installed), two on bed platform and two on inflatable mattress on floor. The Sprinter includes the exterior light package with LED headlights, partial LED taillights, auto high beam, and cornering light function on the fog lights. Chrome grill package has body color frame with chrome trimmed grill. Hood spoiler and clear PPF on hood help protect front end. The wet wiper system sprays wiper fluid down the entire length of the wiper. It’s a big windshield so it help. Electrically folding side mirrors. Four wheel disc brakes with ABS, four season Continental tires LT245/75R16, on jet black painted steely rims with small MB center cap. Solid axle rear suspension, strut front suspension, and auto-locking hubs. It has a 24.5 gallon fuel tank, 18 city/22 highway MPG. 5000lb trailer hitch with wiring harness, Tekonsha P3 trailer brake controller has been added. Flatline Van Co side and rear steps. Flatline Van Co rooftop rack and decking, with 2x100w solar panels, rear mounted Aluminess ladder. The interior has black leather upholstery throughout. The front seats include the comfort package, both driver and passenger front seats are heated. Passenger seat swivels. The steering wheel is leather wrapped, manual tilt. Active distance assist Distronic (adaptive) cruise control with steering wheel controls. Powered front row windows. Four proximity keys are included. The front compartment has overhead control panel with LED lights, heat insulation, acoustic package, USB and 115v socket. Lots of storage in dash and above visors The infotainment system has a 10.25” touch screen (the big one) and instrument cluster both have color display, streaming, navigation, Apple Carplay/Android Carplay, and 360 degree parking package. Mouse buttons on the steering wheel controls instrument cluster and infotainment system. Safety feature include: Active Distance Assist Distronic (MB version of adaptive cruise control), Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Attention Assist. Second tow reclining and third row non-reclining seats with cup holders. This van was the original owners second Sprinter so it’s very well equipped. He knew what he wanted. On the roof, he installed the Maxx Fan Deluxe with thermostatic control, 2x100W solar panels mounted to Flatline Van Co Low Pro roof rack. The van has 120v shore power, so all you need is a regular extension cord. The solar panels connect to a Bluetti 2000 Wh power station. Shore power and solar power are wired to a couple AC outlets. There’s a 32” TV wired in with an HDMI input. The original owners kids could watch movies or play video games while on the road. The power station also runs the diesel heater. All electrical add ons are isolated from the vehicle electrical. He installed the two 3rd row vent windows and upgraded the left side 2nd row to a vent window as well. He installed the rear step. Inside, he added the trailer control. Insulated the interior with Havelock wool in the walls and a thin insulation matting under the floor. The flatline sleeping platform is mounted above the back row of seats with headrests removed. The flatline 5” thick mattress completes the bed. There’s an RV carbon monoxide sensor for safety. The platform and mattress break down and can be stored behind back row of seats when not in use. In our care, we added the Flatline Van Co side steps (otherwise it’s a BIG step up with 4x4 clearance). Short friends had difficulty climbing in. We reworked the roof rack, adding Flatline Van Co front fairing, crossbars and decking plates. Now you can walk on the roof, maintain the solar panels or hang out. Cargo or firewood can be strapped to decking plates. To access the roof we added an Aluminess ladder. The only ladder I could find that did not require me to drill any holes. This is not a fully built out camper, but it’s at the stage where cabinets could be added. We did not intend to modify anything that could limit warranty, so no suspension, wheel, motor or brake changes. 40k/2yr service was completed 7/30/24. This includes A&B services and additional 2yr service items, plus warranty updates. Mileage 11,xxx. Maybe a couple short trips, wife wants a wine tour, etc, so mileage could go up a bit. Plates are good until 6/25. Let’s go for a test ride.
