1972 VW Bus

1972 German Made Type II Transporter Bay Window 100% California owned rust free bus. Emphasis on rust free, it’s really clean. Could be a daily driver, it runs great and I have put a lot of work into it. All maintenance was done by Jose at Griffin’s Auto, the absolute experts for vintage VWs. The interior is almost entirely original, including the seats. I have installed seatbelts in the front and rear seats. Engine was swapped by a previous owner and runs great. I got a pertronix ignition system installed, new engine seals, new clutch, new lower ball joints, steering column adjusted. If I had the time and resources, a fresh interior and a sound system would make this thing a real gem. But I just enjoyed it for what it is. A great beach cruiser and a fun commuter from time to time. I love this bus. But it’s time for someone else to love it. Come check it out if you are in the market for a bus. Not in a rush to sell.
