Footrests swing to each side and are removable. Locking wheel mechanism- Metal footrests. Composite 8" wheels are lightweight and maintenance free. Nylon upholstery is comfortable, lightweight and easy to clean Note* Padded armrests- Note* the right side arm rest fabric is loose & a piece of the front plastic of armrest cracked. I glued it for a temporary fix, it is replaceable by removing screws and purchasing a new arm rest if you so choose to replace it. However This does not affect the function of this transport chair. The price is reflective of the damage to the armrest fabric on the right arm. This is Priced to sell as I have no need for it anymore. Good-used condition.
