This a used n600 modem router combo unit, paired with a TP-Link Archer c1200 router for some extra kick. This was my steady internet combo for my Cox basic plan in my studio apartment, and it has served me very well over its 11 something months of ownership. As a pc technician, I have a lot of internet connected devices floating around in my home and this combo kept them all running smoothly. Now that I'm moving to a much larger apartment, I'm upgrading my set, hence why these kiddo's are for sale. Both devices are less than a year old and are in very good cosmetic and functional condition.  The Modem      The modem is a Netgear n600 modem/router combo. The modem is DOCSIS 3.0 and runs 8x4 channel bonding. It also outputs dual band wifi, both bands running at 300mbs ac wifi. It is certified to work with Cox,XFINITY, Spectrum, and Comcast. The box comes with the modem/router unit and the AC adapter. Like all other modems, it does not come with a coax cable. Installing a new modem requires a coax cable and activation from your srvice provider. These providers provide step-by-step activation services of the phone, so give them a call to streamline your install experience.  The Router      The router is a TP-Link AC1200 Gigabit router. It has a 2.4GHz band running at 300 mbps and a 5GHz band running at 867 mbps. Of course, the max internet speed will be determined by the modem and your internet plan. DOCSIS 3.0 supports up to 300 mbps, anything higher requires Gigablast and a 3.1 modem. The router has 4 gigabit ethernet ports.
