Lakland 55-60 Jazz Bass with Active Preamp

Selling my Lakland 5 string bass that has an active pre amp added to it. These basses are normally passive. This is an absolute workhorse of a bass. The fretwork and neck is perfect, it can achieve super low action without buzz, and it sounds huge. At a 35in scale length, the low B sounds tight and full. The preamp is an Aguilar OBP-3, with controls being Master Vol, Balancer, Mid (push/pull for frequency selection), and stacked Treble/Bass. It uses a 9v battery which is included. Currently the bass has light gauge DR Lo-riders that are well broken in. This is a well-loved bass. It has some scratches, and a dent in the back by the battery door. There is a crack in the headstock by the G tuning machine, but it was filled in by a luthier. It is not cracked all the way through, and will hold up for as long as you take good care of the instrument. No wear on the instrument affects its playability.
