Description
This antique cedar chest is one that was built by William L Kohler of Hazleton for his niece, Louise Tilden. It is a large size, measuring 23x23x46 1/2 Brief History: Mr. Koehler was blind. He attended the First Presbyterian Church in Hazleton, PA, and died 12/18/1931. His sister was Mary E Koehler Tilden who died 1/19/1938. She lived in Milton. Louise donated it for the church parsonage in Milton. Her account is posted inside the lid. When the church sold the parsonage in 2011, I purchased it. Now we are downsizing, and I regret parting with this treasure. It is in very good condition considering it is a century old. Serious inquiries only. Pickup Only!
