RED WING Postman 9197 The 9197 Postman is a 6-inch boot featuring a oil-tanned Black Chaparral leather upper. It's mounted on the comfortable, black Cushion Crepe Wedge sole unit. The boot’s classic look is modeled after the 101 Postman, introduced in 1954 to deliver comfort and protection for policemen on their beats and postmen on their mail routes. Like the durable oxford, the 9197 can be polished for a dressy aesthetic, but is tough enough to handle any terrain or weather condition. Made in Red Wing, Minnesota. USA
