This is a great sounding subwoofer, but I am selling it at a pretty nice discount because there is a slight hum/heartbeat sound that comes out about half of the time. One day it will be perfect, the next it will produce the faint hum. As an audiophile, it annoys me but to all my roommates and friends, they don’t even notice unless they get really close to it. It’s kind of up to you whether you can deal with it or not. I have read that it could be as simple as a capacitor problem.
