1962 Ranchero

type: other odometer broken 1962 Ranchero - We bought this gem about 2 years ago as I was looking for fun project to work on. We purchased it from a car collector in Kelso. The previous owner did a restoration about 15 years ago and did some really neat stuff to it to make a cool hot rod cruiser. Here is what the previous owner did: -Paint with classic pinstriping -Custom offset powder coated steel rims -Replaced all of the factory floor pans that look very good -Interior paint with the classic pinstriping -New carpet and padding -Upgraded 200 cu in 6 cylinder from a 1978 Granada (same as the original, however has stronger bottem end -Headers This is what I did: -New water pump -New hoses -New belt (Yes, there is only one belt!) -New Carter fuel pump -New dual circuit master cylinder (Original was a single circuit/pot) -Rebuilt carburator -Custom 3 point seat belts from Seatbelt world -USB port -New Pertronix electronic ignition (Has a Mallory distributer) -Spark plus -Wires -Added tonneu cover fiberglass bows (so the bed cover doesn't collect water) -I know theres more I can't think of right now She runs really good and has been nothing but reliable. She has a few dings and isn't perfect but looks great! I am looking for my next project and would love this car to go to someone who can appreciate what it is. This thing is so basic and easy to work on it makes one think, where did we go a stray with all this unaffordable technology that we drive and have to service today, just my .02 cents.
