For sale is a Vintage, unique and truly rare 1978 Dodge Champion. Dodge B-300 heavy duty chassis. Excellent running condition. August 2017 sticker: Owned by mechanic since 1988; excellent drive train. 5.9 Dodge motor (360 V8) 727 Torque Flight transmission. We use Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. Has adjustable bands; these transmissions are bullet proof if cared for. CUSTOM BUILT 3.43 one ton rear end (cost $2500); cruises at 70. Almost all vintage motor homes have a 4.10 rear end and top out at 55 (and suck too much gas). Recent new exhaust system: Dual exhaust, performance mufflers. Deep sound. Auxiliary electric fuel pump. Better starting and prevents vapor lock on long upgrades. Auxiliary battery hookups. Heavy trailer hitch receiver. (We have never pulled a trailer with it.) 7 prong electrical towing set up as well as original hook up New Die Hard Gold AGM battery.  New ignition system including distributor, Rebuilt carburetor, 33 gallon extra capacity fuel tank.
