I personally contacted Tuft Love before making this post to make sure the machine is still under warranty and one of the founders very quickly answered my question and confirmed it. The machine will be repaired for free and you won’t pay for any parts or labor, just the shipping, as long as it was not damaged by complete neglect of course! You can be sure that you are spending your money on a high quality machine and from an American brand with amazing customer service! I try to never spend my precious money with things that later on can end up costing me more than I thought, so I did tons of research before choosing this machine and honestly just saved you some time. The small tripod mount thread ring under the projector came off and I was not able to reattach it but I’m still sending it in the bag so you can try fixing it yourself if you want. You could also try to apply a mount adhesive at the bottom of the projector, or place it on a flat surface. I was just using tape to attach it to my tripod and keep it there stable. WHAT YOU’RE PAYING FOR: - Tuft Machine: $150 (new machine only is $180 or $225 with the kit I purchased. With taxes that’s $200/$250!) - Tuft Frame: $50 (Paid $110 w/ taxes because I wanted a frame larger than the 2ft frames you see in kits out there.) - Cordless Carpet Carver: $60 (Paid $88 w/ taxes) - Yarn ball winder: $20 (Paid $25 and I’ve seen used ones going for more than that actually) - 3M Protective Goggles and 3M Half-Mask Respirator: $50 (Paid $80 w/ taxes) - Acrylic Yarn: $50 (I don’t remember how much I spent but it was definitely way more than that!) - Scissors: $20 (Paid $30 w/ taxes) WHAT YOU’RE GETTING FOR FREE: - The Projector; - The GORILLA Spray Adhesive; - The ALEENE’S Fabric Fusion; - The VIOMIS Fabric Glue; - The Hot Glue Gun Machine; - The WAHL Blade Oil; - The ROBERTS 4002 Carpet Adhesive; I have used some of the oil and some of the adhesive but I’d say there is 3/4 left of adhesive left and that’s for sure enough to glue at least one rug! There is plenty of oil and of the other glues. I’m moving and I really need to find a new home for this kit ASAP! Please message me if you can pick this up in Capitol Hill.
