Description

Has been retrofitted with a 1997 VW GTI 2.0 8valve engine OBD1 block. Retrofitted with bigger 1991 VW GTI front brake calipers, rotors and pads. Has original 1984 Rabbit LS1.5 diesel GN transmission. Has brand new coilover suspension all the way around. Body, rockers, pinch weld and floor boards have very little surface rust. All in all very little rust for a 1984 vehicle. Perfect project car. Have not finished the build due to mechanic never finishing the stand-alone microsquirt ECU harness. Can include for $500 extra or you can find a MK3 harness for 2.0 engine in a junkyard and retrofit the OEM harness to body chassis. Has brand new tires with DOT code of 2020. Selling as is, clean title in hand. $1500 OBO, trades accepted
