This is my great-aunt’s Monarch wood-burning kitchen stove, made by the Malleable Iron Range Company in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. She used it for years, and I’ve had it about 40 years now. I’ve never burned in it; it’s been displayed inside my home as a décor piece and conversation starter the entire time. It’s a beautiful cream-and-chrome enamel model with the original warming shelf, firebox handle, vent controls, and stove pipe. The identification plate is intact: Style No: 274PT Serial No: R510 These Monarchs are known for their heavy cast iron, long lifespan, and excellent heat output.
