It's a classic under-bench or front-mount style with cast iron construction, twin guide rods, large acme screw, and original wooden handle. The jaws appear to have provisions for wooden liners (common on these to protect your workpieces – you can easily add new wood faces). Condition: Solid and functional – screw turns smoothly, no cracks or breaks in the castings. Lots of authentic patina/rust from years of use (great for that vintage look, or clean it up if you prefer). No visible maker's marks in the photos, but similar to old Columbian, Record, or other American/English rapid-action woodworking vises. Heavy! Probably 30-40+ lbs.
