Description
I talk to your variety in Florida and also here in Southern California. It’s an excellent producer disease resistant. It produces and yellow skin sweet and tart flesh, complex flavor. The tree is semivigorous that starts producing fairly quick once planted in ground, it easily competes in the top 10 and in some people’s top five mango variety. I completely redid the soil from the root ball. I inoculated it with mycorrhiza, which helps with the plants, health and ability to uptake nutrients. In the soil mix, I use peat moss, pumice, perlite oh, decompose granite/sand to create a fast well breathing SOIL. I also top dress it with organic fertilizer. Started from a 3 gallon pot now in a 5 gallon container. Normally it takes a couple months for the roots to establish and pump out new growth. The last few photos are some of the materials I use, and the last photo is a sample of how I completely change out the soil from the root ball. $120 Pick up in Riverside, or in Santa Ana message me with any questions you might have.
