Boston Acoustics has a long history of making quality speakers with awesome sound quality for their relatively low price-point. These are currently paired with my Marantz 2245 (not for sale) but were once my main speaker tied to my 2270; they have proved to be extremely efficient in both the 45 and 70 watt ranges and at all volumes.
