Description

For your consideration is a stunning Agile AL-3100MCC Goldtop, Made in Korea, in like-new condition with the tweed-style hardshell case shown. Nice, comfortable weight at only 9 lbs.! This is a beautiful guitar with a deep, rich goldtop that looks even better in person. It is very classy with the ebony fretboard, dark brown back/neck, and the cream accents. The bindings and fret-ends are finished smoothly and the fit/finish are impeccable. Check out the multi-ply binding around the headstock and the top! They visually frame the guitar for a Custom Shop vibe and are probably my favorite detail in the overall design. The pickups sound full and fat and the coil-split pots (tone controls) provide more versatility. The coil-split tones sound great as well; not thin at all. Tuners are smooth, pickup selector and jack are solid, all controls are smooth with no scratchiness. I would conservatively say that the guitar is 9.5/10 condition. No buckle rash or dents; very little surface scratches on the pickguard. The lines/marks you see are just the reflections through the windows. The only thing worth mentioning is the slight wear in the chrome finish along the bass side of the pickup covers; not really noticeable as that's where there is typically light reflection; thought I'd mention it anyway for those who are as fussy as me : ) I've had a bunch of Les Paul-inspired guitars over the years and Agile makes absolutely the best, by far. The design, workmanship, and attention to detail are on par with my Gibson Standard and Custom Shop pieces. While this is not a 1957 reissue R7, it is a great alternative with its own vibe and is definitely a league above Epiphone, Firefly, Harley Benton, IYV, etc. Most Agile LP's are in the 10 lbs. range so this is considerably lighter as well at 9 lbs. I'm only parting with it as I'm freeing up some space for other projects and am only keeping older pieces with sentimental value. This Agile is a lot of guitar for the money and I hope it goes to a good home! Please check out my listings for other guitars / guitar gear. Thanks for your interest and God bless!
