Description

I built this chair for my dog who was recently diagnosed with megaesophagus. Unfortunately, I had to put him down last Friday. I'm not a professional woodworker by any means, but the chair is sturdy and works. I was planning on getting this upholstered for long term continued use. For the two or three times that my dog used it, I used towels to cover the foam while he was in it. The chair is held together by screws, so it can be disassembled if needed. The only glue used was on the foam padding, which I tried to use sparingly in anticipation of changing the foam out (if it got dirty, or if I needed to change the thickness of the foam for a better fit). Without the foam, the interior of the box is 14 1/4" deep, 11 5/8" wide, 27" tall on the sides, 33" tall on the backboard. With the foam, the interior measurements are 11 1/4" deep, 9 1/2" wide. My dog was formerly 78 lbs. but was around 72 lbs. when he was using it those few times. I'm asking $150 for it to cover the cost of building it.
