❤️🎹 🎼 Who are my piano enthusiasts? Last chance before the beautiful piano is broken down for trash collection, unfortunately. Therefore, we’re willing to give it away for the cost of the delivery. This is a perfection option for someone looking for a beautiful piece of art for their home that is also functional. With a heavy heart, I am hoping my mom’s beautiful piano will go to someone who will cherish and take good care of it. 🙏 Is that you? This 1869 piano was built by Johann Baptist Streicher, the third-generation piano builder in the Stein-Streicher family. The Streicher firm was established by his mother, Nannette Stein Streicher—the daughter of one of Mozart’s favorite keyboard builders, Johann Andreas Stein. This piano is in the Viennese style with a wooden frame and minimal iron bracing. Streicher’s pianos were appreciated by several composers such as Johannes Brahams, for their smooth, clear tone and fast action. As a Concert Grand Piano, it is 7.5 feet deep with 4.5 feet long. We do have piano mover options to share which with dismantle, move, & reassemble the piano for you. My mother purchased this piano in auction around 2007-2008. I have clarified with a piano tuner that the piano does need work. In its state, it is valued at $2,000. It’s a great art piece for anyone collecting beautiful antique pianos, yet more money would have to be invested into the piano for it to be completely tuned. The piano WILL need professional movers to move it including disassembling & reassembling the piano. I do have two services to provide. Rough estimate is $500-$750 pending where in San Diego. On behalf of the estate, we are willing to REFUND up to the total cost paid for the piano for the delivery (because we are forced to have it moved within the next week) or it will be broken down for trash.
