I took a chance and bought a reconditioned 4runner based on all the stellar reviews and that he stands by his work. I've had it a month now and everything has been great with it.

When I arrived to look at the truck, I met Mark and he was so genuine--which was like a breath of fresh air compared to all the other dealers I had visited. I needed a 4runner I could trust wouldn't break down on me that was also in my budget. Since I'm not a mechanic, that meant I needed to trust who I was buying from. My instincts told me that Mark was a good guy.

The shop was not glitzy. It is a yard full of cars that they are working on on a street filled with similar shops. It is small and local which means their best advertising is good reviews. That means they would never want to sell a lemon and end up with a bad review.

I let Mark know I was going to drive to Alaska next year and he joked that he worried I would test-drive it all the way there! What he didn't know is that Alaska is on my bucket list because I have advanced cancer. I've got some years left, but I know this could potentially be the last vehicle I buy--I mean it is a Toyota after all and should last forever ;). I'm so happy it is beautiful and I feel like I got a great car.

No Worries or Regrets buying a salvage title vehicle from Mark at Best Buy Imports.
After I got my auto loan with my Credit Union my first appointment was with Best Buy Imports. When I arrived there,  I was greeted by Mark the owner. He was very friendly, not pushy like other dealers, and was very  transparent. Mark explained to me about vehicle’s history I was interested in. He even gave me many pointers on what to look for when buying a salvage vehicle Incase I would buy somewhere else. I ended up canceling the other appointments I had with the other dealerships and felt a peace buying the car from him. Mark gave me a really good deal and saved me a lot money. Even my bank said it was a really Great Deal. My vehicle’s license plates and registration arrived right away. Even though my 2018 Toyota Camry is salvage it looks, smells, and drives like new. Thirty days have now past, and I Thank The Lord God Almighty for the amazing car He Blessed My Wife and I with. From now on I will be purchasing all my vehicles from Mark at Best Buy Imports. I purchased a 2013 4runner Limited from Mark about one year ago.  The entire process was painless and straightforward, with no hidden costs or gotchas.  Mechanics confirmed the car was in excellent condition during a pre-purchase inspection.  After buying it, I found a minor problem with the fog lights, and Mark repaired them on the spot the next day at no charge.  Over the course of driving it for a year, in much rougher, wetter, terrain than California, the car has performed very well.  I'm extremely pleased overall and highly recommend this shop.

I was used car shopping across 3-4 models for 6+ weeks all throughout southern California looking for the perfect deal.  It did not exist.  Every single time I got to the final out-the-door price EVERY used car dealer in LA or OC threw in a last second fee or hidden cost that made the final price due ridiculously higher than what the price was advertised (+ the usual tax and registration).

Then I came to check out a 2014 Chevy Volt at Best Buy (sold by Mark).  He was the absolute most friendly, transparent and straight-forward sales guy I met through the the entire sales process.  The mileage was a little higher than quoted so he knocked the price down a couple hundred bucks.  The registration was only valid for 6 months so he cut the registration cost in half for me.  Everything was fair, reasonable and all facts were on the table.  I happily walked away with my vehicle and finally lived happily ever after after a painful 6 week experience elsewhere.

Bought a 2017 Honda HRV WITH 1k miles
Car had a salvage title. LOOKED NEW!!!

First time I test drove A/C wasn’t working took it back to get it fixed - FIXED
Within a month the front started making noise to it back- FIXED
Later found out something was loose and needed to be replaced took it back - REPLACED

I CAN HONESTLY SAY MARK THE OWNER LISTENED AND ACCOMMODATED 🙌🏽 Only reason it’s not 5 is because I had to keep taking it back 😅 but again it was a salvage and Mark did a good job repairing it.. LOOKED NEW!  WOULD RECOMMEND 👍🏽
