1981 Ford Courier

1981 Ford Courier VIN: X condition: fair cylinders: 4 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas paint color: blue size: compact title status: clean transmission: manual type: pickup Runs / Drives / Stops. Basically a driving project. This is my summer beater I don't hesitate to take it anywhere besides when it's really hot (no ac). Fun truck, gets tons of looks and thumbs ups. Starts right up and electric choke works good. It can sit for 3 days and I can crank it over without giving it gas and it'll start right up. I've taken it to Chicago, and many trips to Lombard/ Villa Park from Plainfield. Along with a 2hr drive home when I bought it. Will do 70mph but prefer to keep it at 65 on the expressway as it winds out. Does leak oil, and needs exhaust work. Has rust in the body and frame. 2.0 4cyl / 4spd manual. Disc front brakes. Includes 17" Chevy wheels and tires. Have a spare used alternator, starter, carb, clutch assembly, flywheel, solid tan hood, and a 5spd transmission that are included. Yes it's rusty, no it's nothing you need unless you need a fun truck to cruise and get back to basics with no power steering, no power brakes, manual windows, vent windows!!!, no radio ( I bring my Bluetooth speaker with when I want tunes), no AC. If I were to keep it I'd cut the back 2/3 of the frame off and build it with 4 link and put a Ford small block in it with a T5 5spd but I'm moving so I'm selling.
