Description

This 1930s glass ashtray, with a narrow silver-plated rim, measures approximately 3 1/2” long x 2 1/4” wide x 1” tall. Features a lovely embossed decorative art deco style design on the underside. The silver-plate rim enhances its sophisticated look. Because the diameter of cigarettes of the past was smaller than modern cigarettes, the two side indentations are modest-sized. Perfect for use or as a decorative accent for your coffee table, bar or vintage ashtray collection. The silver-plate has discolored over the decades, but can be polished. In excellent condition with a few typical glass imperfections which were indicative of the time period. Cash only. Pickup in New Hyde Park, Nassau County, Long Island.
