Vintage German Beer Stein White Porcelain Pewter Lid Lithopane 9" Ceramic

This vintage German beer stein is made of white porcelain with gold bands and accents on the handle. It has a pewter lid. The stein has a colorful lithopane of a young couple dancing, while a gentleman looks on. It has the words AUF DER ALM DA GIBTS KOA SUND , which loosely translates to There is no sin on the mountain pasture . It measures 9" tall by 4.5" in diameter at the bottom. It's marked Germany on the bottom. The stein is in great condition like on the age. Vintage Lidded Stoneware GERMAN BEER STEIN . Probably from late 1950s or early 1960s. Approximately 9 inches high including the pewter lid. Traditional naked lady visible in base when held up to the light.
