I’m an old fart who’s cleaning out his shop. 1905 Crescent Machine Company Band Saw, one-family owner, WORKS! Crescent Machine Company, 1905 Century Electric Company single phase induction motor, wired for 110v, 10 amps This has been in my family since new, literally. My Great Grandfather bought this and built a lot of the things you see in the pics, the band guards, wood shelf, motor mounts. 100% original patina/survivor, not restored or even cleaned up, just oiled and kept running. Two speed motor, centrifugal transmission gear change. When it’s first fired up, it starts up in low gear, builds RPM, the shifts on its own to high hear. Original steel band and a spare included Max work dimensions-- Maximum cut size 24w from blade to arm Max cut height 8 inches Overall, as standing in front of it-- Wheel diameter 26 Width 57 from motor adjustment wheel to end of table 80 high 25 deep Can load in your truck with my tractor.
