BOTH FOR PARTS ONLY. I bought the purple one first to play on my laptop using the usb adapter but it stopped working. Then I bought the white one to use on the laptop and worked well until I tried connecting the chat pad to test it but instead it made my white controller also not work with my laptop. I don't have an Xbox to test them so selling as is. I don't need them since I now upgraded to a wireless controller instead.
