John Deere 318 garden tractor with 50 inch mower deck

John Deere 318 with 50" mower deck. This is the original "sub compact tractor." This 1985 tractor is 100% made in the USA and was priced new at $6,000 before any attachments. This tractor has a hydrostatic transmission and front hydraulic hook ups. Attachments available for this tractor include bucket loaders, hydraulic snow plows, snow blowers, etc. This tractor also is 3 point hitch compatible and has a rear PTO. This allows for rear tractor attachments including tillers, blades, brush hogs, etc. This tractor is a 1985 model and has been reconditioned down to the frame and includes many new components including (but not limited to) brakes, electrical system, tires, hydraulic hoses, seat and starter. The tractor includes the updated P218G 18 HP Onan gas engine manufactured after 1987. This new model increased displacement and added electronic ignition over the prior model. This engine has 1,050 hours on it (new hour meter reads 114 hours) and compression is strong at 120+ PSI per cylinder. The hydrostatic transmission has been checked and serviced. All fluids and all filters have been changed. Power steering works great. The mower deck bearings are tight. Work was completed by professional JD mechanics. I purchased the tractor for everyday use but found I needed a larger tractor, so I am selling.
