Beautiful vintage original oil painting on canvas featuring a peaceful mountain and lake landscape surrounded by trees. The painting has visible textured/impasto brushwork, especially throughout the foliage and foreground, giving the scene nice depth. The artwork is artist signed in the lower left, although I cannot confidently identify the signature. The back retains its original gold foil Home Galleries, Inc. – Oil Certified label, numbered 55014. There is also handwritten information on the stretcher/frame, including what appears to read “103 Gold” and additional writing. It is presented in a substantial, ornate antiqued gold-tone wood frame with a linen-style inner liner. Approximate measurements: * Overall framed size: 20” wide × 24” tall * Frame depth: approximately 2” * Please refer to measurement photos for exact dimensions. Condition: Good vintage condition overall. The painting displays nicely. The frame has age-related wear, scuffs, scratches, finish variation and areas of discoloration consistent with age. There is also some staining/discoloration visible on the linen liner near the bottom. Back shows normal age and wear. Please review all photos closely as they are part of the condition description.
