Sigma C.F. Martin DM-1 Acoustic guitar

Still available - Acquired several years ago, this solid spruce top Sigma guitar by C.F. Martin and company has had its strings changed to 11 gauge custom lites but was rarely played because I have too many guitars. Bridge pins were also upgraded to ivory color bone with inlaid abalone dots. Original open gear tuners. From the previous owner it has a few light scratches on the back and a cosmetic bump or two on the front along with a minor gash on the headstock - all are cosmetic and do not impact playability. Likely manufactured in the mid 1980s, made in Korea, good condition for a 40+ year old guitar. Sigma at the time was part of the line originally produced under the Martin & Co. name. Known for delivering solid craftsmanship and rich acoustic tone, this guitar is ideal for players who want quality sound without the price tag of a full Martin. Includes a vintage-style Martin & Co. hard case, manufactured exclusively by TKL. The case is lined with green velvet-style interior and features multiple latches for secure transport. A perfect match for protecting and storing the guitar. Plays well, sounds great, and has been carefully maintained. The pickguard has a classic worn-in look that adds to the vintage aesthetic. Only selling because it’s not getting the playing time it deserves. And no, this is not a Martin “Lawsuit era” guitar.
