Handmade Woodworking Bench with quite a history. Rock solid bench with two vises and a variety of work holding options to tackle any woodworking task – whether using hand tools or power tools. Used in my hobby workshop for many years, but am downsizing and sadly need to pass this on to the next craftsman. Made to last generations. Measures 73 inches long, over 30 inches deep and 34 inches tall. Solid Hard Maple top, over 2 inches thick. Solid Douglas Fir base, very heavy, weighs 300-400 pounds. Absolutely massive twin-screw face vise measuring 34 inches wide is able to hold entire cabinet case sides. Vintage Record 53 tail vise from the 1930’s. No vise made today is anywhere near this quality. Highly collectible, these sell for $200-400 on eBay, when they turn up. A variety of workholding accessories such as bench dogs, hold-down and surface clamps (all quality Veritas) may be included in sale for the right price.
