2009 Volkswagen Rabbit

Bought this car on July 27th of this year. I have only driven it 8 5 miles. The car runs and drives amazing, super low miles at 79k. Everything works as if new, Ac cold heat etc. All windows work as they should. Car starts instantly every time. It was involved in. A rear end collision. I was fully aware of this. This issue lays with me registering the vehicle to wa title. Family before me bought this from a dealer who bought it from state farm. This family never bothered to change the title to WA and left it as Idaho. I was in aware of this, in addition to the title having damage from. I don't know looks like mice. Guy said he called dmv and explained to them the condition. Where he then said since all the info like Vin and name was present I could register. This was incorrect, what was needed was a wa state inspection, which is 8 months before the next. Contacted him for the new title and got ghosted. This is where the situation is now. Have the title signed to me, an bill of sale to me, and a picture of his license to prove that indeed this is sold the car. I niw have a new car, this really was an amazing car and runs great. Come take it for a drive. If you have the time to wait for what's needed. This will be a great 1st car. Comes with new trip permit to drive home.
