Description
This one’s wild—definitely not your average Les Paul. It’s a 2007 Gibson Les Paul Robot, part of the rare first-run models that made their way to Japan only. Loaded with early Tronical tuning tech and a 50s neck carve, this thing is as unique as it is cool. The neck is a chunky 50s-style profile that feels solid and smooth. It’s got a super dark ebony fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and barely any wear. No breaks, no cracks, no funny business—just a solid vintage-feeling neck that plays clean all the way up. Frets have plenty of life, and it’s dialed in and ready to rip. We’ve gone through it top to bottom so it plays as smooth as you’d expect. The finish is a killer nitro blue-silverburst that’s super clean. Only a few light marks here and there from gentle use—nothing that stands out or distracts from how slick this thing looks. It weighs in at 9 lbs even and balances beautifully. Resonant, punchy, and a tone monster with that classic 490R/498T humbucker combo. This one’s got serious bite and clarity. The Robot tuning system is all original, That said, the guitar currently won’t charge—we suspect the battery needs to be replaced, but we can’t confirm 100%. Everything else appears intact and untouched.
