Description

Overview: Up for sale is an incredible lithograph print by listed French/American artist, Andre Gisson (1(contact info removed)). I haven't found a ton of information on the artist, but he was quite popular for his figural pieces, particularly young girls, just like the one here. This depicts a semi-impressionist portrait of a girl against a garden backdrop. I really like the hazy tones, giving it a bit of a nostalgiac feel. Signed "Gisson" at lower right. Numbered 194/275 at lower left. Undated, but likely dates to the 1960s or 1970s. Matted and framed in a simple period wood frame under plexiglass. Certificate of Authenticity from the Collector's Guild (NY/Paris). Condition: Lithograph and matting are in excellent condition. Frame shows a fair bit of scuffing. Measurements: Print measures approximately 25.25 inches high x 19.75 inches wide (22.5 inches wide x 16.5 inches wide (sight). Frame measures approximately 29.625 inches wide x 23.625 inches high.
