Food Truck

Selling my entire food truck business. Been doing it since 2018 started with a small hot dog cart and built up my business and purchased this truck 4 years ago. This business has been very good to me and I made a lot of $$ doing it and I loved it but I’m chasing another dream now and am getting out of the food truck business. It’s a 2002 workhorse FT-1601. very nice sized truck and kitchen. Truck is about 26ft long 12-13 ft high. It has a Chevy 5.7 motor with just over 292k on the odometer. The motor was rebuilt about 6 years ago. In april 2023 I replaced all the front steering components ball joints,tie rods, sway bar,idler arm, Pittman arm. In 2024 I replaced the spark plugs,wires,distributor cap n rotor, new battery, new starter, fuel filter, replaced a loud exhaust header. Tires were also recently replaced and have like 75% tread left. Starts right up and runs very quiet. I also had a brake inspection done before I stored it for the winter and the brake pads still have plenty of life left. No leaks at all. No mechanical issues at all. Comes with a large beverage cooler, large freezer, large 3 bay steam table, double stove top, 36” flat grill,microwave, 48” sandwich/condiment cooler, water heater, hood vent with high quality extinguisher system, 3 bay sink with fresh and grey water tanks, plenty of table and storage space, and a space in the corner to install a fryer (fryer can run you $300-$2000 depending on brand and if it’s new or used you can find them cheap on marketplace). LEDs on the outside too. Everything works great. Also comes with 4 mounts for 15 ft tall flags on the outside as you can see from the pictures. This attracts many many customers especially from a distance. (Most customers don’t want to approach every food truck they see they like to know what you sell from a distance) the flags alone will make you a lot of $$ especially at events. I’m also going to be including all my equipment I ever bought for my business including all my pots,pans,utensils,knives,storage coolers, extension cords,tent, tables, chairs, 2 garage refrigerators,1 small deep freezer, 10,000 watt generator, ramps, signs, menu boards, propane tanks, water tanks, 2 food warmers, lemon squeezer, flags, tupperwares, and other equipment. Theres also a tent I forgot to include it in the pictures. You will be ready to work and will only need to get your permit and buy your food and you will be ready to sell. There’s also no wrap on the truck so that will also save you some $$ on a new wrap because the wrap company won’t have to remove any old wrap. You might find trucks on here a little cheaper but a couple things I want to point out is this is not just a truck its the truck plus all of the equiptment you need to start. A lot of other trucks will be cheaper but have low quality equiptment or no equiptment at all. To equipt one of these trucks can easily run you $25k-$40k depending on the equiptment you buy and labor. Half the trucks I see on marketplace are made with cheap equiptment and wont even come close to passing inspection. The last thing you want to do is buy a cheap $35k-$40k food truck and it doesnt even pass inspection then you cant legally work. A lot of trucks dont come with the fire suppresson system which is easily about $10k installed and all counties require you to have that system installed. This truck was licensed in Kane and Dupage county for years. This truck has been very well maintained and has a lot of new mechanical parts installed too and will last you many more years and make you a lot of $$. If you work hard enough you will earn your $60k back in one season easy. I'll always be on call so you can call me with any questions or advice. Be sure to bring a Uhaul with you when you come to buy it if you plan to take the refrigerators and other equipment with you . Serious buyers only. Im not here to give advice. im not hear to listen to your “its always been a dream of mine to own a food truck but unfortunately I don’t have the $$ to buy one” stories.
