Description

This is the JDK COMP-R22 studio compressor, made by API (currently sold under the ‘API Select’ badge). I used it for years in my smoke-free, pet-free studio. I recently sold it and UPS dropped it so hard the transformer was knocked loose. I took it to a professional tech (Israel at Turntables & Trails in Seattle) who replaced the transformer with an identical NOS unit! He also serviced this thing, so it sounds great. Very nice condition - it has a few minor scuffs and one small spot of tape residue from the UPS adventure. Otherwise great. Not willing to ship. Price reduced to $700 cash or Venmo. Willing to meet at the Kingsgate Safeway (north Kirkland) on 124th Ave NE. Or I’ll be in Lake City (north Seattle) next Wednesday, Aug 27th. Open to possible/partial trades for quality studio gear, Danelectro Convertible or baritone models, Cordoba classical guitar, Epiphone Casino, etc.
