Agreed on a final price, submit my app (hard pull), the number wasn't what we agreed which got me to give them my info to pull in the first place. Decent enough selection, just make sure you double check the numbers on screen versus what was discussed. Was ready to sign the paperwork. Lost a sale, unfortunately. Used car biz, it was a good lesson to learn. Get that verbal agreement on paper.

I recently purchased a car from this dealership and had an outstanding experience, thanks in large part to Jacob. From the moment I walked in, Jacob was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right vehicle. He patiently answered all my questions, provided clear explanations, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Jacob's professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. I highly recommend this dealership, and especially Jacob, to anyone in the market for a new car.

I recently purchased a Honda from Jacobs Preowned and while things started off promising, the overall experience was disappointing.

When we first arrived, the dealership was closing, but to their credit, they stayed late and walked us through several vehicles. We appreciated their time and initially felt good about the process. The car we liked had a dead battery, which they jumped for us, and we agreed to return the next day to complete the paperwork and pick up the car.

However, when we came back, the salesperson tried to give us a completely different car, insisting it was the one we had chosen. Thankfully, a manager eventually stepped in and brought us to the correct vehicle. We asked that the battery be replaced due to the issue the day before, and they agreed, but the process was incredibly disorganized. After three failed trips to the parts store for the correct battery, we left without the car. Despite having our 6 month old baby with us, we remained patient and understanding.

They promised to deliver the vehicle the next day and fill the tank as a courtesy. When the car arrived, not only were none of the lights working, but it was also delivered with the gas tank completely empty. No explanation, no apology. Leaving myself, a new mother, with an infant and no gas. This is sadly in line with the values they seem to operate by. My husband had to fix the no lights issue on his own. How did the salesman not notice on the drive over that nothing electronic was working in the car?

The tag situation has been even worse. It took over 75 days to finally receive our tags. Which is well over the legal timeline of 30 days. We had been passed back and forth between employees, told to go to specific locations and speak with specific people, only to arrive and find out those people no longer work there and noone had any info on what we were talking about.  It’s no surprise their employee turnover seems so high. Repeated follow-ups, visits, and calls had gone nowhere. When we finally got through to Jacob himself,  the owner,  he rushed us off the phone saying he needed to focus on buying more cars. How about taking care of the customers who have already bought cars from you? He was incredibly rude and dismissive. The lack of responsibility and professionalism at every level has been astounding.

We were eventually offered a $225 “courtesy credit” toward the tags but still had to pay the rest. Calling that a courtesy feels like an insult after everything we’ve been through.

What could have been a great experience turned into a drawn out, stressful ordeal. I wouldn’t recommend Jacobs Preowned to anyone.
