Description
Up for sale is my 2004 Chevy Silverado Z71. It has many upgrades done to it and it has been very reliable for me. I’m looking to buy a newer truck with a bigger cab. While taking pictures of this truck I almost don’t want to sell it lol. This is just a quick rough post. I may clean it up some more and post again. Let’s start with upgrades and replacements that I have done. Post 160k miles. So it’s all still new. -The engine has been completely resealed. It doesn’t leak a drop. -The whole front end suspension has been completely replaced. Upper/lower control arms and ball joints, both cv axels, both inner/outer tie rods, both brake rotors/pads, pitman arm, and idler arm. -I have also installed a steering dampener. -The previous owner had replaced the transfer case. -I replaced the transmission. -Brand new headlight and taillight covers. -Front coil over conversion kit / torsion bar delete has been installed by me. Lifts the front end up without the rough ride from the torsion bars. It also has dampening adjustability. It is completely reversible and I have the old parts to go with it. -Brand new nitro terra grapplers with a full size spare in the bed of the truck. -Truck bed cover with a locking tailgate. -Aftermarket Bluetooth radio with upgraded door speakers and the factory subwoofer. Sounds pretty nice. Those are most of the things done to it that I can remember off the top of my head. There’s only 2 things that really need done to this truck. -I think it could use a new steering box. It is completely drivable and still works however it just has a feeling like it could be replaced in the future. -The truck has a short in the gauge cluster. The battery gets drained if it doesn’t get driven everyday. I have taken it to the dealer and that’s what they told me. They said it was about 600 bucks to replace. However you could get an aftermarket or used one for way cheaper. I have a set of rear brakes for the truck to go along with it. That’s it. Just a 20 year old truck with some dents and dings but overall pretty nice.
