Description
This telephone company linesman’s flashlight, measuring approximately 7 1/2” long, is also known as a GI / Army Flashlight because it is very similar to the WWII flashlight. Features a 90-degree angled head, high-impact construction and a chrome belt clip. Operates on 2 D-cell batteries. Waterproof and designed for rough service. Has a spring in the battery compartment, designed to hold the battery in place. Made in Los Angeles, California USA. Cap and side marked G.T. Price. In white letters, “Bell System C” is only slightly visible on the side. In good working condition. In fact, it has the original bulb. This flashlight does show, however, signs of use, wear and age. My Father began working for the Telephone Company shortly after he returned to NY from WWII. For years, he wore this flashlight clipped to his belt. Cash only. Pickup in New Hyde Park, Nassau County, Long Island
