(Very) large Boat Anchor-hard to show scale in photos. Compare2 Fortress: FX55. Or Rocna. Rare original Viking brand from NZ. the well known Fortress or Guardian brand is actually a more recent but identical copy. Size chart says: 52-58ft. For a Bluewater Sailboat I’d oversize- so fits ~30-45ft boat as a storm/ worst case hurricane scenario anchor to save your boat. Simply can’t beat these fortress type Alu anchor in “holding power to weight ratio”..especially sandy/mud bottoms. Easily- disassemble to stow away. Danforth type anchor, Compare to 55lb steel Danforth. *ideal* Backup anchor, storm anchor, *stern anchor* or kedge, throw in the dingy and use it to pull yourself off the beach!
