You can convert the screen settings to black and white, simplified color, and the screen on this device is MATTE, so there’s no glare… it’s really an interesting choice… this device is not true e-ink, but it hardly matters when you can switch settings on a dime… you can enjoy this outdoors in the sun. The charge is not comparable to e-ink devices, but when you change the settings, especially to black and white, it really holds a better charge. It conserves energy. I highly recommend you watch a video demo of this device to see the features. Personally, I’m still searching and sampling e-ink brands… This tablet is a formidable contender…
