They are made of solid wood and both are very sturdy, quality pieces of furniture. The cushions have been recovered at sometime in their lives (with the ottoman not being the best reupholstery job). Only has some minor stain wore off on front hand pull ups of arms. This is the ideal glider and ottoman combination for your nursery. Features metal, enclosed ball bearings for a smooth glide motion to help you unwind and/or lull your little one into sleep time!
