Mid Century Modern highboy tall dresser. This is a beautiful example of Mid-Century craftsmanship by Dixie Furniture, features two top drawers with inset pulls, and three long and wide bottom drawers, for plenty of storage, with the manufacturer’s label stamped on the inside of the top drawer (Dixie). Still in its original finish, each drawer has a beautiful medium tone, with stunning walnut grain. An extremely well made and solid piece in good condition with simple elegant lines and beautifully tapered legs. The wood is naturally highlighted in a walnut pattern throughout, with a rich glossy brown tone. Sticker inside shows it was originally purchased at the historic Barker Brothers Furniture retailer in Downtown Los Angeles.
