I’m a huge fan of late 60s/early 70s Sony amplifiers. They have that warm tube-like sound which is rare from a solid state amp. This baby is a giant killer. Incredible sound quality and lots of power. Check out the guts and compare those to another 50 watt amp from that era, no comparison. The build quality is closest to McIntosh which was and is much more expensive. This will go toe to toe with Marantz, McIntosh or any other brand from the golden era of vintage Hifi, a true sleeper. When the word finally gets out, the early Sony amps will greatly increase in value. This 1120a is the first solid state integrated amp from Sony, and they meant to make a statement. It’s rare and is in excellent condition. This underrated 50 watts will push almost any speaker you hook up to it thanks to a big and heavy power supply. Why am I selling?
