Rare item for your local history collection!! Vintage EASTON EXPRESS NEWSPAPER canvas money bag / paperboy bag from Easton, Pennsylvania. Have not found another one of these listed anywhere!! Slot on back for wearing with a belt. Estimate this dates to about 1960s or earlier. First printed 1855 as Easton Daily Express, the name changed to Easton Express in 1917, and abbreviated to The Express in 1973. In 1991, The Express merged with The Globe-Times of Bethlehem to become The Express-Times. This Easton Express canvas money bag is in very good condition with only minor wear from age and use. No holes or tears. Zipper works as normal. Divider inside bag to separate coins from paper money. Bag measures about 9 1/8” x 6 3/4”. See pics for more details.
