I just got this powerful internal power filter today. But as you can see by the photos it's WAAAYYY to powerful for my 29 gallon tank. New just tested! According to the manufacturer the filter/powerhead pumps 400gph and works well with 150-300 gallon tanks. But I think it would be great for as small as a 55 gallon tank. Or 40 gallon if you have fish that likes the water current. But then the instructions claim the filter can work with 150-200gallon tanks. Will trade for a few small working e26 bulbs
